A New Chapter (With More Butter)

Dear friends,

If you’ve been here a while — first of all, thank you. Truly. Whether you came for the DIYs, the crafts, the chaos, or the quiet moments in between, your presence has meant the world to me.

Over the past few years, this space has grown and shifted right alongside me. As a homeschooling mom of five, life is full — and let’s be honest, trying to build a business while raising and teaching tiny humans (and managing the dishes!) is already its own kind of circus.

And lately, something’s been bubbling in the kitchen.

You see, I’ve always loved food. Not gourmet, not fussy — but real food. Wholesome food. Magical-in-its-simplicity food. The kind that comes together with a pinch of this, a splash of that, and a bit of curiosity — like a kitchen witch at her cauldron.

So I’m officially stirring the pot in a new direction:

👉 Capturing Wonderland is shifting its focus from DIY and crafts to simple, soul-satisfying recipe content — things you can actually make on a weeknight, with what’s in your pantry.

What to expect:

• Heirloom-style bakes with a storybook twist

• Homemade pantry staples & mix jars (no weird ingredients)

• Comfort food with a little whimsy and a lot of butter

• Recipes to feed your family without feeding the overwhelm

This is still a place for creativity. Still a place for wonder. But more and more, I’ve found that the real magic happens not in a glue gun or a craft table — but over a warm stove with a wooden spoon and a table full of hungry, happy faces.

If you’re still in, I’m so glad to have you here. If food isn’t your thing — no hard feelings. But if you’re like me and always ready to conjure something simple and delicious to share with the people you love, you’ll feel right at home in this next chapter.
